Kinpira Ninjin (sauté & simmered carrot 人参のきんぴら)
1. Cut a carrot into thin sticks.
2. Heat sesame oil 2tbs and a bit of dried chili till slightly smoke come out and add the carrot.
3. When carrots are soft, add soya sauce 2tbs, maple syrup (sugar or honey) 1tbs, sesame seeds 1tbs, sake or white wine 2tbs and salt till liquid is nearly gone.
